NZ Post's Household Vision Survey

The New Zealand Post conducted a survey in 2001 in which every household was given a questionnaire inviting households to submit their vision for the future of the country, in the form of a drawing or prose of 50 words or less.  Out of the approximately 10,000 responses, 7800 were analyzable.  The results were processed by the New Zealand Futures Trust and Victoria University to produce the largest compendium of aspirational visions ever collected in New Zealand.  Anew NZ has special permission to feature this information in the development of the "Creating Our Future" national futures project.  (The New Zealand Futures Trust is a project partner.)

The report is extensive.  A quick overview of the results can be seen in the conclusions section.  A more detailed read can be undertaken using the following table of contents.

For your convenience we have broken the report into separate MS-Word files. You can click here to download a MS-Word viewer application if required.
